Mr. Steve D. Uttecht, MSEE

Mr. Steve D. Uttecht is Vice President of Applications. Mr. Uttecht has been with AMRADNET since 2007 and has been instrumental in bringing innovative clinical applications to our customers.

In his current position, Mr. Uttecht manages all clinical application development and support. His key focus has been on leveraging our existing NEMBOTS (Network Enabled Medical Business Objects and Tools) platform to allow third-party developers author tools and distribute to our clients.

Mr. Uttecht has over 18 years of experience in medical imaging. He focused his research activities on DICOM Imaging in the MR and PET Research Centers at UPMC while pursuing a Ph. D. at the University of Pittsburgh.

Prior to AMRADNET, Mr. Uttecht worked with the Radiology Informatics Group at UPMC where he helped develop just-in-time imaging technologies which were commercialized by Stentor (now part of Phillips), as iSyntax and iSite. While at UPMC, he also designed and developed the free SimpleDICOM Suite of Tools for transmission of DICOM images, which is widely used in the field of Radiology.

Mr. Uttecht graduated from the South Dakota School of Mines & Technology and holds a Masters in Electrical Engineering from SDSM&T.
