Medical facilities and physicians can build their own team of experts, upload clinical data and submit cases for second opinions with ease. Clinicians, regardless of their location, can obtain second opinions from AMRADNET®. Our expert physicians, Radiologists, Cardiologists and Neurologists, will review the original report, clinical data and diagnostic images, and provide a written evaluation report quickly.

The purpose of SecondNet® is to obtain an independent second opinion by another unrelated expert physician in cases where the clinical picture, physical exam or laboratory results are not supported by the initial expert physician report. Such a second opinion can be useful if performed within a short time frame so that treatment of the patient can be planned with both opinions in hand for the clinician, the final arbitrator on treatment, to consider.

To better utilize this option, AMRADNET® encourages the clinician to request a needed second opinion as soon as possible, so that the care of the patient is best served by having all the necessary information available before clinical decisions are made. To this end, the Company will only accept requests under this system for 72 hours from the delivery time of the original report to the medical facility. After that time, the medical facility will be required to send a new set of films for comparison.

Medical Facilities and Primary Care Physicians can request for Second Opinions through their diagnostic service providers. Second Opinions are provided within two hours of receiving the request.
