Company History

AMRADNET was founded as an off-shoot of Mr. Neil Iyer's Master's thesis that he completed as part of his President's MBA program at Pepperdine University, California in 2004. Together with co-founder Dr. Charles Mandell, an enterprising Radiologist, AMRADNET launched its flagship product, the "Radiology Informatics Portal", a SAAS Platform (or Software as a Service Platform) combined with expert physician and support services. Today, AMRADNET is making forays into Cardiology, Neurology and other specialties.

In the beginning, AMRADNET launched its products and services to meet an unfulfilled need in Long Term Acute Care, Skilled Nursing and Intermediary facilities, and old age institutions. Now, AMRADNET has expanded its services to other healthcare facilities like Hospitals, Outpatient Centers, Urgent Care Centers, diagnostic centers and medical clinics.

By investing in new technology and infrastructure, AMRADNET has continued to make big strides in healthcare, bringing innovative products and services aimed at enhancing the quality of care provided to the patient.

Here are the important milestones in AMRADNET's history.


2007
 

AMRADNET acquired ViewTech’s medical business along with its core product and technology, MedView. ViewTech AG, a Swiss Corporation, was founded in 1998, as a spin-off from the University of Zurich, Department of Computer Science.
2008
 

AMRADNET received approval from the U.S. Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) for its Picture Archival and Communication System (PACS).
2009
 

AMRADNET launched its Cardiology Informatics Portal, to service various cardiology diagnostic tests and procedures including cardiovascular diagnostic imaging services.
2010
 

AMRADNET was awarded for the first time the Gold Seal of Approval by the Joint Commission with highest honors for its automated processes.

AMRADNET was recognized as one of the fastest growing private healthcare companies in America by Inc. magazine.
2011
 

AMRADNET was acquired by UMEDEX (Universal Medical Exchange) to service a much larger audience in healthcare. This has enabled AMRADNET to bring a wider range of ultra modern innovative tools with unparalleled infrastructure, all with the "ZERO INVESTMENT" upgrade for its customers and their facilities, physicians and patients.
